Delivery and Substitution policy:

Our Guarantee

We take pride in providing fresh, beautiful arrangements for our valued customers. Flowers and greenery are a perishable product and will have natural variations due to seasonal changes and weather conditions. We make every effort to ensure the quality, beauty and longevity of our fresh products.

On average we expect our arrangements to look good for about 5 days, with some flower varieties lasting longer than that. Certain specialty varieties such as peonies or dahlias may wilt after 2-3 days. We encourage our customers to extend the longevity of their arrangements by adding water daily and keeping them at room temperature (above freezing, out of direct sun or hot cars, and away from vents or drafts). Failure to care for the arrangement may result in premature wilting or browning.

For live plants, we guarantee that the plant will be delivered in healthy condition but cannot ensure the health or longevity of the plant beyond that.

If you are dissatisfied with your gift for any reason, please contact us within 4 days of receiving it. We will do our best to rectify the issue with a replacement arrangement or additional flowers.

Delivery Times

Due to routing and traffic conditions, we are not able to promise or guarantee delivery at an exact time. We can usually accommodate a request for a 2 hour delivery window (ex: between 9:00-11:00 am). To request a delivery window, please write it in the special instructions area at checkout.

During busy holiday periods including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day we cannot guarantee any specific times and will complete the deliveries between normal business hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Taxes are based on prevailing rates for the delivery or pickup location.

Please note that all prices are presented in USD unless otherwise noted.

Funeral Arrangements

We work closely with local funeral homes to arrange on-time deliveries for their services. To ensure that your order is delivered to the correct location and time, please put the name of the deceased as the recipient's name. We typically deliver a minimum of 1 hour prior to the service or visitation. For services that are very early morning or on Sundays, we may deliver the day before. 

We do our best to accommodate same-day deliveries, but if a funeral order is received without enough time to deliver before the service starts, we will contact you to discuss alternate delivery. 

For services that have more than one location or event, we will deliver to the first one and the funeral home will transfer the flowers or plants to the other location(s). 

Delivery to Hospitals

Local hospitals including Sanford and Essentia do not allow delivery drivers to bring flowers and gifts directly to patient rooms. We will deliver to the designated location at the hospital, and hospital staff or volunteers will bring your gift to the patient.

Latex balloons are not permitted at any local hospitals. Certain rooms and floors including Intensive Care Units (ICU) do not allow fresh flowers or plants. If a recipient is in one of these rooms, we will contact the sender to discuss alternatives. 

If a patient is discharged from the hospital before we are able to deliver, we will contact the sender to arrange for an alternate delivery address or refund. 

Substitution Policy

Fresh Flowers: Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses.

Plants: For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible.

Gift Baskets: Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.

Substitutions for Special Occasions: Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us.

Delivery Policy

If No One is Home: Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery.

Recipient May Be Contacted: For deliveries to residences, our drivers will often contact recipients by phone call or text to ensure they will be home at the time of delivery.

Request to Leave Item at Door: If requested by the sender or recipient, we may leave your gift near the door at the delivery location. We can only do this if the weather is appropriate (above freezing, not too hot) and we make every effort to put the arrangement in a protected location away from sun and wind. 

Cancellations

To provide you with the best possible service, you can cancel your order at anytime prior to delivery. If your gift is en route or delivered, we will be unable to cancel the order. To cancel an order, please call our store.
